The Government has declared April 15 a public holiday in view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations which falls on April 13 and 14, the Home Affairs Ministry announced today.
The Deputy Director of the Colombo National Hospital, Dr Rukshan Bellana today declared that he was prepared to face any disciplinary inquiry over the comments he made regarding the medical condition of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
