The IIA 9th National Conference 2024, was held on 11th September at Marino Beach Hotel. This event gathered auditors, risk management professionals, and industry leaders to explore the latest trends, challenges, and best practices in internal auditing. This year’s theme, "Embracing Trends, Enhancing Value" resonated deeply with attendees.
The conference was graced by Mr. Faizal Salieh, the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, as the chief guest, while Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike, the CEO of the Colombo Stock Exchange, delivered the keynote address.
Over conference day, participants engaged in a series of insightful sessions led by expert speakers followed by a panel discussion on important topics during each session.
