Sri Lanka's Buwaneka Goonathilleka reached the Men's Singles final of the HUNDRED Sri Lanka International Series 2025 after recording a stunning 2-1 comeback win against Byung Jae Kim of South Korea after an absorbing semi-final clash at the St. Joseph's College Indoor Complex in Darley Road, Colombo on Thursday evening.
After losing the first set 21/13, the former Sri Lankan champion made a remarkable comeback to claim the second set 21/18, and sealed his berth in the final with a stunning 22/20 win in the decisive third set.
He will face Indonesia's Jelang Fajar in the Men's Singles final on Friday at 1:00pm.
