Mercantile Badminton Association (MBA) embarked their annual Novices Winners tour to Thailand, giving players the opportunity to test their skills and gain invaluable experience in an international setting.
The tour, organised from November 2 to 5, featured friendly matches with some of Thailand’s top club teams, allowing participants to explore new tactics, forge friendships, and develop their abilities in a competitive yet supportive atmosphere.
With Pubudu Mallikarachchi as Tour Manager and Nimasha Sathsarani Perera as Assistant Tour Manager, the touring party included Sapumal Chalana Bimsara, Malshi Fernando, Gayathri Chandima, Soraya Miskin, Lakhini Sashibhani, Chalakie Weerasinghe, Nirodya Prasadini Perera, Thushara Thomas, Chethaka Anuk Kumarasiri, Damindu Vidanapathirana, Samith Madhawa Karunathilaka, Yehan Munasinghe, Charuka Laksidhu Dewmika and Nayanapriya Edirisinghe.
