Carrom: Entries called for Travel Trade Championship

Entries for the 8th Men’s and Women’s Carrom Championship organised by the Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSL) scheduled to be held on February 20 at the Galadari Hotel 'Anthurium' Banquet Hall will close on February 15.

Entries have been called from 170 affiliated members and could be sent to c/o Sunethra Blok, Administrative Secretary, TTSC via email only.

Defending champions Mt. Lavinia Hotel who won the team men’s team event defeating Turyaa Resort, Kalutara will seeking to make a repeat when the tournament was last held in 2019.

Buddhini Dias from Colombus Tours won the Womens open Individual singles title beating Wasanthi Chathurani from Turyaa Resort, Kalutara; Buddhini Dias bagged a double, when she won the doubles title, partnered by Anushka Ramkishore from Hemas Aviation ; they beat the Galadari Hotel pair, Nirmali Satharasinghe and Uwani Surasinghe.
