Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has requested the team manager of the national cricket team currently in England, about three players who have breached the bio bubble, after video clips showing them in public emerged in social media.
Video clips circulating social media clearly shows Sri Lankan cricketers Kusal Mendis, Niroshan Dickwella and Danushka Gunathilaka at a public area during night, as players are expected to be inside a secured bio bubble during Sri Lanka's white-ball tour in England.
SLC is expected receive the manager's report within the day and based on the contents it is likely that the three players are to be suspended and returned to Sri Lanka immediately.
Sri Lanka lost the T20 series 3-0 and will play three ODIs beginning from June 29.
