Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has made a decision to grant Rs.5 million each to nine major clubs that owns cricket grounds.
This grant is aimed at helping these clubs to maintain and enhance their grounds and infrastructure, according to SLC.
In addition SLC has come to a decision to make an outright grant of Rs.20 million, in addition to the Rs. 40 million given to Colts Cricket Club towards the construction of a new Clubhouse and a pavilion.
The decision was proposed and approved by the SLC Executive Committee following a meeting held on Tuesday (24).
