The Sri Lanka Cricket named the One Day International squad following the Selection Panel’s decision to name a the following the selection of a 17-man pool for the three-match series against England, set to begin on January 22 at the R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo.
Charith Asalanka has been retained as the ODI captain, while Test skipper Dhananjaya de Silva makes a comeback to the limited overs side after 2023. Sri Lanka has also included Pavan Rathnayake, Milan Rathnayake, Pramod Madushan and Eshan Malinga in the 17-man squad.
The ODI matches will be played on January 22, 24, and 27 at the R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo, before the two sides head to Pallekele to play three T20 Internationals.
