Cricket: Sri Lanka place 39 players in bio bubbles as separate squads

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that it had included 39 cricketers, who signed new annual contracts for the year 2021/2022, in a bio-bubble in two separate groups, in Dambulla and Colombo, as part of the preparation for the upcoming inbound and outbound tours.
 
The 39 players represent the contract categories of 'Senior', 'A' team, and 'Emerging'.
 
Accordingly, 26 players are currently undergoing residential training at Dambulla, which commenced on June 25, while another 13-member group started training at the R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo.
 
The Residential Training Programme in Dambulla will undergo until July 22, while the Residential Training Programme in Colombo will last until July 10.
 
The squad training at Dambulla include Lahiru Udara, Nishan Madushka, Sangeeth Cooray, Sadeera Samarawickrema, Kamil Mishara, Minod Bhanuka, Kamindu Mendis, Suminda Lakshan, Dilshan Madushanka and Mohomed Shiraz -- all under 'A' team category and Nipun Dhananjaya, Saminda Fernando, Shammu Ashan, Sahan Arachchige, Udith Madushan, Kalana Perera, Nimesh Vimukthi, Mahesh Theekshana, Nuwanidu Fernando, Chamika Gunasekera, Nuwan Thushara, Ashen Daniel, Himesh Ramanayake, Lahiru Samarakoon, Lasith Abeyratne and Pulina Tharanga, from the Emerging category.
 
Players in the Senior category training in Colombo are Dilshan Munaweera, Sandun Weerakkody, Angelo Perera, Ashan Priyanjan, Roshen Silva, Asela Gunaratne, Chathuranga de Silva, Lahiru Madushanka, Milinda Siriwardana, Lahiru Gamage, Jeffrey Vandersay, Prabath Jayasuriya and Malinda Pushpakumara.
