David Sekar, the National Fast Bowling Coach of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has tendered his resignation according to confirmed reports.
SLC confirmed that Sekar, who joined in December 2019, had announced that he would resign from his position with immediate effect, issuing a media release today (18).
SLC's statement explained that Sekar has resigned due to personal reasons.
It is highly tipped that former Sri Lanka fast bowler Chaminda Vaas would replace Sekar's position for Sri Lanka's upcoming tour to West Indies.
