Tamil Union registered a commanding 116-run win against CCC in their AIA Premier Limited Overs Cricket Tournament encounter played at P. Sara Oval on Wednesday (2).
In a match reduced to 47 overs per side, Tamil Union elected to bat first and posted 234-8, with Isuru Buddhika top scoring with 52 and Ramith Rambukwella hitting a quick-fire 49 not out off 41 deliveries.
CCC were bowled out for 118 runs with 135 deliveries to go.
