The 13th South Asian Games will be held in Nepal from December 1-10, 2019.
The decision was reached at the South Asian Olympic Council Executive Board meeting in Bangkok on Friday (1).
The Games were supposed to be in March this year but was postponed due to issues with venues.
According to source Nepal is now ready with venues and its government was eager to host the eight-nation competition.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
