Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s women’s team emerged victorious at this year’s John Keells Holdings Inter-Company Badminton Tournament, bringing home the much coveted championship trophy in the women’s’ open category. Led by star player Ravihari de Silva, the trophy was won after an intense battle against SAGT by 2-0. Samanthi Peiris and W.D.C. Kalhari were part of the winning team. Ravihari de Silva was also adjudged best player in the women’s open category. The tournament was held last Saturday at the Mercantile Badminton Association.
