The FIBA 3x3 basketball tournament organised by Colombo South International College (CSIC) saw 38 teams from various colleges, schools and clubs take part on Saturday (13), at the College basketball courts in Kalubowila.
Zahira College, Lyceum International School, the National School of Business Management Green Campus, the Australian College of Business Technology, SLIIT, the American National College, and players at both the club and national level as well as basketball die-hards in general, fielded teams.
As the teams battled it out in the shorter format of the game, dark clouds loomed over threatening to spoil the fun.
However, to the relief of the players and the crowd, they drifted away after a soft drizzle, and the tournament continued with a goods porting atmosphere.
The tournament was organised by the Past Pupils' Association of CSIC as a fundraiser for an upcoming School Walk and Fiesta.
