The third annual ‘ThePapare.com’, Inter-Schools Under-19 All-Island ‘A’ Division Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Basketball Association (SLSBA) and sponsored by Dialog Axiata PLC would commence next month.
The Girls’ Tournament would start on September 16 at the Gateway College Courts in Colombo and the Boys’ Tournament would begin on September 25 at S. Thomas’ College Courts in Mount Lavinia.
The semi-finals and the final would be played on October 5 under lights at the Henry Pedris Stadium in Havelock Park.
These details were revealed by Sanath Jayalath, President SLSBA during a media briefing held at the Dialog Head Office in Colombo.
Starting from the quarter-final stage, matches would be streamed live on ‘ThePapare.com’, and on Dialog Now (Channel No.1).
The quarter-final stage is scheduled to commence on September 30.
Meanwhile, each team will receive customised jerseys designed to suit their respective school colours.
