An unbeaten 115 by Lahiru Peiris and half tons from Lahiru Sandaruwan and Udan Ravindu paved the way for Christ King College Ja-Ela to record a massive 184 runs over Loyola College Bopitiya in their inaugural Battle of Friends limited over encounter played at P. Sara Stadium on Saturday (24).
The Lahiru doubles and Udan’s knocks saw Christ King taking first lease of the wicket amass a score of 367 for 8 and Loyola College in their run chase was never going to be near as they were made to struggle for their runs but was able to muster a score of only 183 runs.
