Boxing: 91st Clifford Cup Championship begins
The 91st Clifford Cup Boxing Championship will begin at the Royal-MAS Arena in Colombo today (5) with nearly 175 male and female pugilists expected to vie for top championships.
Top boxers from reputed clubs and institutions are expected to feature themselves at the five-day event, which comes to close on Saturday (9).
Sri Lanka Army are the top winners of the annual event, having won the Clifford Cup on 35 occasions, while Slimline BC has clinched the title eight times.
