Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) revealed that 17 national cricketers including skipper Angelo Mathews, Rangana Herath and Dinesh Chandimal have agreed to sign new player contracts.
The SLC stated that the new contacts are drafted to allow the players to benefit based on their performances.
Besides Mathews, Herath and Chandimal, Dimuth Karunaratne, Kusal Perera, Suranga Lakmal, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dilruwan Perera, Kusal Mendis, Milinda Siriwardana, Nuwan Pradeep, Kaushal Silva, Dananjaya de Silva, Dushmantha Chameera, Danushka Gunatilleke, Jeffery Vandersay and Lakshan Sandakan are the players who have given their nod to sign new contracts.
