Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) stated that its Selection Committee has picked right-arm fast bowler Chamika Karunaratne in place of injured Lahiru Kumara to join the Test cricket team in Australia.
Karunaratne will join the team in due course while injured fast bowlers Lahiru Kumara and Dushmantha Chameera will return to Sri Lanka on Tuesday (29).
Sri Lanka lost three fast bowlers in the ongoing Test series against Australia due to injuries.
