A cricket coaching camp to identify talent and provide training to schools cricketers of Matugama area will be held at Public Ground in Matugama on Sunday (12). The coaching camp is organised by C and K Cricket Academy with a number of reputed coaches providing their expertise will begin at 8.30am. The 1996 World Cup team member Ravindra Pushpakumara, Sri Lanka Cricket fast bowling academy coach Anusha Samaranayake, former Sri Lanka women’s cricket team coach Jeevantha Kulatunga and present Sri Lanka women’s team coach Lanka de Silva are the national level coaches providing training. Veteran cricket commentator Kelum Srimal will conduct a lecture on the importance of playing cricket from a young age.
