Test skipper Dinesh Chandimal has been named the captain of the Sri Lanka Emerging team for the One Day series against the visiting South Africa Emerging team.
The squad includes national caps Dimuth Karunaratne, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Amila Aponso, Jeffrey Vandersay and Asela Gunaratne.
In addition the side includes promising newcomers Shammu Ashan, Charith Asalanka, Dasun Shanaka, Kamindu Mendis, Nishan Peiris, Shehan Madushanka, Jehan Daniel, Asitha Fernando and Binura Fernando.
The three-match series will begin with the first game at Dambulla on Thursday (9).
The second match will be played at the same venue on Saturday (11), followed by the third and final game on Tuesday (14) at the SSC in Colombo.
