To commemorate the 145 the Anniversary of the Colombo Malay Cricket Club the Colombo Malay Cricket Academy started in 2012 will be restarted on August 5, 2017.
Declared open by the then President T.Y. Rahim the academy functioned in a low profile over the years and the newly elected President Irfan Allang along with the Cricket Committee have drawn up plans to develop it to a fully fledged academy upto international standards.
It will be opened for boys from the age groups from 8 to 17 years.
