Michael Main, the Head of Strength and Conditioning of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has left the Sri Lanka camp midway of the ongoing Australian tour according to reliable sources.
Main has resigned nine months into his two-year contract with SLC, to take up an offer from Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
Main, 27, joined SLC on June 1 last year, and his last appearance with the Sri Lanka cricket team was at Dambulla.
SLC sources revealed that local trainer Dilshan Fonseka will take over Main's role transitorily, till the end of the ongoing Australian tour.
Fonseka has been in the trade for over nine years as trainer of Ragama Cricket Club, Sri Lanka 'A' and Sri Lanka Under-19s sides.
