Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that it has extended the tenure of the Selection Committee headed by Sanath Jayasuriya for further six months.
"Sri Lanka Cricket is pleased to announce the ratification of the Honourable Minister of Sport, Dayasiri Jayasekera to the extension of term of the National Selection Committee comprised of
Sanath Jayasuriya as Chairman and members Romesh Kaluwitharana, Ranjith Madurusingha, Eric Upashantha and Asanka Gurusinha," an SLC release stated.
Accordingly the Selection Committee will continue for a further period of six months, ending December 31.
