Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has recalled national cricket team's Head Coach, Chandika Hathurusingha from South Africa, after the five-match ODI series.
"Sri Lanka Cricket informed Head Coach Mr. Chandika Hathurusingha to return to Colombo, following the completion of the 05th ODI of the ongoing series in South Africa," SLC issuing a media communiqué, stated.
"He is being asked to come back in order to discuss Sri Lanka team’s preparation plans for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019," it added.
Batting Coach, Steve Rixon will act as Head Coach of the team during the T20 Series in South Africa during the absence of Hathurusingha.
