Sri Lanka Cricket announced that the services cricketer turned psychologist, Jeremy Snape, has been retained to help the Sri Lankan team in the run-up to the forthcoming World Cup 2015. This will be his second involvement with Sri Lanka national team. Snape worked successfully with the team during the English series which Sri Lanka won. Snape will be with the Sri Lankan team for 14 days from February 24 to March 9. “Jeremy Snape will be able to enhance individual performance of the national team with the World Cup in mind. This move is bound to add value to the system at this crucial stage and will support to derive the maximum output of players to face any challenges in the upcoming World Cup 2015 in particular,” a statement issued by SLC said.
