The Super Twenty20 Provincial Tournament, a remodeled city-based T20 competition conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will begin today (26) with a card of two games.
The competition will raise its curtain with the game between Colombo Commandos and Galle Guardians at 10.00am local time followed by the second game between Hambantota Troopers and Kandy Crusaders at 2.00pm.
The R. Premadasa Stadium will play host to the competition, which ends on February 5 with the final, after 13 games.
The teams in contention are Colombo Commandos, Galle Guardians, Hambantota Troopers, Kandy Crusaders and Kurunegala Warriors.
The teams are led by Milinda Siriwardana, Dinesh Chandimal, TM Dilshan, Lahiru Thirimanne and Mahela Udawatte respectively.
