Middle-order batsman Lahiru Thirimanne will lead the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Board President's XI against the visiting West Indies in the three-day practice match to be played from October 8 to October 10 at the SSC ground in Colombo. Thirimanne’s team which has only five Sri Lanka caps beside him, include a majority of fresh legs.
