Thirty two teams have qualified to play in the Second Round of the Division III Cricket Tournament and CDCA Trophy 2018 in eight Groups with four teams in each group.
The Group leaders and Runner-ups of the First Round will play in the Second Round with each team in a group play against each other teams in following groups on a league basis.
Second Round Group leaders will be eligible to play in the Quarter Finals of Colombo District Cricket Association (CDCA) Trophy and will be recommended for the Western Province Division III Tournament to be conducted by WPCA and SLC.

Group 'A': Old Bens SC, SSC, Unichela, KDUCC
Group 'B': Uni Moratuwa CC, Old Thomians CC, Brendon CC
Group 'C': Bohras CC, Liberty CC, SSC 'B', LRCC
Group 'D': Old Wesleyites CC, Padukka CC, SA Cricket Club, Natives CC
Group 'E': Old Centralians CC, Old Senanayakians CC, Old President CC, Egodauyana United
Group 'F': Rukmalgama CC, Bloomfield C&AC, Royal Warriors, Darrusalam SC
Group 'G': Lankan CC 'B', Sappers CC, Sastralians CC, Saracens 'A'
Group 'H': Catamarans CC, Malay CC, Heshan SC, UoC Alumni Cricket Club
