The 34th Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Cricket Sixes 2016, sponsored by Cinnamon Grand Colombo, for the 5th successive year will be worked off on Saturday (29) at Thurstan College grounds, commencing 8.30am.
The following 10 teams have confirmed their participation: Cinnamon Grand, Colombo 'A' and 'B', SriLankan Airlines (2015 runners-up), Aitken Spence Travels, Connaissance de Ceylan, Amja Travels, Emirates, Walkers Tours, Cinnamon Lakeside and the newcomers Advan Travels.
The previous tournament held on November 28, 2015 at the BRC grounds was marred by rain and bad light.
The semi-finalists and the finalist were determined by enforcing the bowl out contest where Cinnamon Red went on to win the title for the first time, beating SriLankan Airlines.
The five special awards on offer are for the best batsman, bowler, batsman with most sixes, man of the final and man of the tournament.
