Sri Lanka swimmer Akalanka Peiris finished fourth to qualify to the Semi-final 2 of Men's 50m Backstroke Swimming event at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (7).
Competing in Lane 3, Peiris clocked 26.83seconds in the Heat 2 to finish behind Zac Incerti of Australia, Harry Shalamon of Jersey and Craig McNally of Scotland.
The semi-final will take place later today at 3.54pm Sri Lanka time.
