CWG Update: Indika Dissanayake wins Weightlifting silver medal
Weightlifter Indika Dissanayake won the silver medal in Men's 69kg event with a total lift of 297kgs in the Commonwealth Games 2018 a short while ago today (6).
Dissanayake lifted 137kgs in Snatch and 160kgs in Clean and Jerk to finish second to Gareth Evans of Wales, who lifted 299kgs in total to win the gold medal.
Indian Deepak Lather won the bronze medal with a combined lift of 295kgs.
