Sri Lanka swimmers Vinoli Kaluarachchi and Dilrukshi Perera failed to qualify in their respective heat events at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (6).
Kaluarachchi was placed third with a timing of 28.76seconds in the Women's 50m Freestyle Heat 2 and finished second in the Women's 100m Backstroke Heat 1 with a timing of 1:07.64minutes.
But her overall standings in both events could not help Kaluarachchi qualify further in both events.
Perera finished third in the Women's 50m Freestyle Heat 3, clocking 27.75seconds but she too was placed bottom in overall standings.
