The National Cycling Championship 2015 organised by the Sri Lanka Cycling Federation will be held on Friday (30) and Saturday (31) in Anuradhapura. The qualifying and timing event will begin on Friday (30) at 9.00am on Kawarakkulama Road near the Air Force Camp where two cyclists from each district will be eligible to participate. In the Men’s Open event, the number of competitors shall be decided according to the number of entries from each district. However in the Women’s Open, Junior Men's and Junior Women's categories, this restriction will not comply. Besides the main competitions, two special events for the age groups of 40 to 55 and Over 55 years for events will be held concurrently with the main event. The competition is conducted by the Sri Lanka Cycling Federation in collaboration with the North Central Provincial Council, Anuradhapura Municipal Council, Sri Lanka Police and the Anuradhapura District Cycling Association.
