Air Force SC and Navy SC recorded contrasting wins in two games of Women's Division I Football Tournament played on Wednesday (17) at the Air Force ground in Ekala.
Air Force and Navy won their opening games played on Monday (16) and remain unbeaten so far.
Air Force SC thrashed Police SC by 6-0 in the second match after a goalless first half.
T.K. Anjala scored a hat-trick (61st, 78th and 85th minutes) and I.M. Withanage struck twice (74th and 89th minutes) while K.R. de Silva (scored the first goal (48th minute) for Air Force.
Navy SC defeated Army SC by 2-1 after leading the halftime by 1-0.
M.A.S. Perera scored two goals for Navy in 41st and 73rd minutes and S.U. Priyadarshani scored a gal in 50th minute for Army.
The next two matches of Air Force vs Navy and Army vs Police will be played on Friday (19) at the Air Force ground in Ekala.
