Colombo FC defeated Renown SC 1-0 to retain the Dialog Champions League in the title decided match played at the Racecourse ground in Colombo on Sunday (14).
Mohamed Fazal scored the winning goal for Colombo FC in the 38th minute as the first half ended in 1-0.
The second half ended scoreless giving the defending champions the title for yet another year.
Job Michael of Renown SC and A. Emmanuel of Upcountry Lions, both scored 16 goals each during the tournament to share the Golden Boot Award.
Scorer of the final, Mohamed Fazal of Colombo FC was named the player of the match and earned the Golden Ball Award.
Rafik Irshad of Renown SC won the Golden Glove Award for the best goalkeeper.
