Ratnam SC and Defenders SC recorded contrast wins in two Dialog Champions League 2018 football matches played in Colombo and Kelaniya.
Ratnam SC defeated Crystal Palace FC 2-0 after leading 1-0 at halftime at the CR&FC ground in Colombo.
P.S. Maduranga and L.K. Didier scored goals in 17th and 45th minutes for Ratnam.
Defenders SC had to struggle before recording a 3-2 win over Solid SC 3-2 at the Kelaniya Football Complex.
Defenders led the halftime 2-0 and completed their third goal halfway of the second half but Solid struck back by firing two quick goals later on before the game ended 3-2.
Mohamed Isadeen scored a goal in 76th minute and Asikur Rahuman scored two goals in 8th and 62nd minutes for Defenders.
S. Prabath and Edison Figurado scored goals in 76th and 83rd minutes Solid.
