The CEAT, AMRC, SLADAR Tarmac Championship, which promises top class racing will be held on July 25 and 26 at the SLAF Base in Katukurunda. The motor racing event promises to be the highlight of the summer for both racers and fans as formula cars too will be part of the races. Over 20 races will be held with trophies awarded for first, second and third place in each race as well as a special award for the overall car and motorbike winners. Six car races and two motorbike races will also award points towards the championship which will have eight car champions and two motorbike champions. Entries will be open until July 16 at the SLARDAR Office in Nugegoda or at the Speed Drome in Battaramula. The final round will be held on the October 3 and 4 in Pannala.
