Ashshar Hamim was elected President of the Southern Motor Sports Club which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year.
Ashshar a pioneer member of the Southern Motor Sports Club which was formed in 1997 held the post of president from 2000 to 2003 and was a former Vice President prior to assuming his new term of office.
Andrew Silva better known as the 'Rally Guru of SMSC' was elected Secretary while Prasanna Wijewickrema was re-elected as the Treasurer.
The new Office bearers and Executive Committee which was elected at the annual general meeting held recently are as follows:
