Sri Lanka opening batsman Dimuth Karunaratne has been hospitalised after being struck by a bouncer at the back of his head during the second test match against Australia that is currently underway.
Karunaratne suffered the blow while facing a delivery by Australian pace bowler Pat Cummins.
He was stretchered off the ground following a lengthy treatment.
