Seylan Bank beat Hatton National Bank (HNB) 60-56, to annex the Mercantile Netball 'A' Division League title at the Mercantile Netball League Tournament 2016 sponsored by Singer Sri Lanka and conducted by the Mercantile Netball Association at the Thurstan Sports Complex.
Citizen Development Business Finance (CDB) were 2nd Runner-up.
The competition was conducted in five categories.
'B' Division: Expo Lanka Group (Champs) beat Nations Trust Bank (NTB) 30-15. Second Runner-up was Sampath Bank.
'C' Division: Kanrich Finance (Champs) beat Sri Lanka Telecom, 23-12. Second Runner-up was Access Group.
'D' Division: Mas Active Shadeline (Champs) beat Commercial Leasing, 14-13. Commercial Credit was 2nd Runner-up.
Open Mixed: Seylan Bank PLC (Champs) defeated NTB 20-11. Sampath Bank was 2nd Runner-up.
Netball Queen: Wasana Lakmali (Seylan Bank) Best Shooter- Tharjani Sivalingam (Seylan Bank)
Best Defender: Mandira Sampath (Seylan Bank) Best Centre-Forward- Thakshila Sandaruwani (MAS) Best Upcoming Player & Attacker- Gayanjali Amarawansa (HNB)
