Sri Lanka begins the second day of the second Test against Pakistan 68 runs behind but with nine wickets in hand at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo today (26). In reply to Pakistan’s first innings total of 138, Sri Lanka were 70 for the loss of one wicket when stumps were drawn on the first day. Off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal grabbed his maiden five-wicket haul while opener Mohammad Hafeez top scored for Pakistan with 42 runs. As the second day is set to begin it was confirmed that fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been ruled out of this Test match due to an injury to his left hand. He was hit by a bouncer from Sri Lanka’s debutant paceman Dushmantha Chameera during Pakistan's innings and bowled with a lot of discomfort yesterday. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat. Pakistan fields an unchanged from the first Test, which they won at Galle by 10 wickets. Sri Lanka made two changes to the side that played at Galle, by bringing in debutant Chameera and Kaushal in place of Nuwan Pradeep and Dilruwan Perera.
