Police SC performed one of the best comebacks to draw Havelocks SC 24-24 in their second round match of the Dialog League Rugby Championship played at the Police Park on Sunday (21).
Havies were leading 14-12 at halftime but the Cops played up to their potential to make a strong rally and record their second draw of the season.
Bottom seeded Police SC, drew their first game against CH&FC in the first round.
Both teams scored from four tries and two conversions each.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
