CR&FC retained their winning ways by defeating Havelocks SC 30-22 in a second round match of the Dialog Rugby League Championship played at Havelock Park today (27).
Haveis, who beat CR 35-30 in the first round, failed to live up to their expectations, after they were outdone by the visitors comprehensively despite leading 12-8 at halftime.
CR scored from four tries, two conversions and two penalties.
Havies scored from a converted try and five penalties.
