Havelocks SC had to fight hard before emerging victorious against Army SC by 39-18 in the second round Dialog Division ‘A’ Club Rugby League Tournament match played at Havelock Park on Sunday (24) evening.
With the Soldiers trailing close behind throughout the game, Havelocks managed to hold on to a slender 17-15 lead at halftime.
Havelocks scored from six tries, three conversions and a penalty while Army recorded their points from two tries, a conversion and two penalties.
