Kandy SC, sans their skipper and star player Fazil Marija, beat Police SC by 44-17 in a second round match of the Dialog Division ‘A’ Inter-Club Rugby League Tournament played at Nittawela on Sunday (31).
The win was Kandy’s tenth back-to-back in ten games as they sniff the League Rugby title for yet another year.
Kandy led the halftime 18-9 and scored from seven tries, three conversions and a penalty.
Police scored from an unconverted try and four penalties.
