Kandy SC sunk down a spirited Navy SC team by winning their first round match of the Dialog Rugby League Championship by 33-19 at Nittawela today (9).
Kandy had done too much in the first half at the end of which they led 21-13 to lose this all important clash.
They won with a tally of five tries and four conversions while Navy scored from a solitary converted try and four penalties.
