Centre Tarinda Ratwatte's brilliance where he single-handedly contributed with 23 points, helped CR and FC record one of the eminent wins against Navy Sports Club, in the Dialog Rugby League Championship match played at Longdon Place today (11).
Ratwatte scored two tries, kicked five conversions and a penalty as CR bounced back to win the game by 38-23 after trailing 7-23 at halftime.
In addition to Ratwatte, Mohamed Sashan touched down twice and Supun Tharaka scored a try as CR completed their mission to win their second game with a tally of five converted tries and a penalty.
The Sailors scored all their points in the first session as centre Thilina Weerasinghe contributed with 18 points from their total points.
Weerasinghe scored a try, made two conversions and put over three penalties from their total tally, with Muhsin Faleel scoring the remaining try.
