Navy SC beat Police SC by 36-28 to reach the semi-final of the Dialog Clifford Cup Knockout Rugby Championship, in the quarter-final battle played at the Racecourse ground today (16).
The Cops dominated from the start, even by slotting the first try but the Sailors countered well to take the lead by 17-14 at halftime.
The game was evenly poised until the final 15 minutes where the Cops were overpowered by the Sailors by forcing their opponents to commit errors.
Navy scored from five tries, four conversions and a penalty.
Police scored from four converted tries.
