Navy SC recorded a comfortable 50-28 win against Air Force SC in a Dialog League Rugby Championship match played at Ratmalana on Friday (9).
At halftime the Sailors led 22-16 and went on to score from seven tries, six conversions and a penalty.
The Airmen scored from three tries, two conversions and three penalties.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
